W: His son is at University and that is why we had the beer close by, so that he can pick his son up.
Nel: So you discussed the case?
W: My lady, he had already given his testimony.
Nel: Did you change your report after discussion with him?
W: My lady he is not a ballistic expert, I wouldn't take his advice on it.
Nel: So the court wouldn't take his advice in regards to ballastics?
Nel: You would want the court not to accept anything he said because he is not a ballistic expert?
W: My lady, the contents of the my report was never changed in the context of what Mr. Dickson told me.
Nel: Did you discuss the case with the accused?
W: My lady, I met the accused the day we went to cut the piece out of the accused' leg. I think I was there for maybe 30 minutes.
W: I have never consulted with the accused as to what happened there that night.
Nel: You say, you were present when questions were put to the accused.
W: I was present, but I have never discussed it with the accused what happened that night.
W: I remember when I met with Adv. Oldwage at one time and brought up a photograph of the deceased and I remember he went out vomiting and he never came back in.
Nel: Why would you want to say that he was vomiting.
W: To show the court that I never consulted with the accused.
Nel: I would like to make an inference.
W: You can make an inference, I don't care. I have never lied in court.
Nel: Are you saying that your evidence has never been rejected in court?
W: My lady, I am only aware of a case recently where I was informed that they would not be using my evidence. I am not sure why.
W: My lady this case is still going on at present my lady.
W: As far as I know my lady.
Nel: We will deal with it, let us carry on.
Nel: 8 March 2013, you went to the crime scene and Capt. Mongena was there and you re-constructed the scene?
Nel: You made some observations there?
W: Yes, I took some photographs.
Nel: And then you gave it to the defense team?
Nel: I got sidetracked, we were still busy with during your consultation the accused was present.
W: Yes, he was there at stages.
Nel: Who gave you his position when he fired the shots?
Nel: So you agree with Capt. Mongena?
W: My lady, if you also take into account the primary test and the cartridge cases that were retrieved then, taking that into consideration that I agree with Capt. Mongena.
Nel: Let us just make sure, photo 31
Nel: My lady that is an exhibit from exhibit RR from Capt Mongena's report.
Nel: So do you agree that the accused was standing there, where the laser is standing?
W: That is approximately there.
Nel: SO you kept all the police statements and Capt. Mongena's report but you never kept your own reports?
W: My lady, I never printed it out. Perhaps it was a mistake on my behalf.
Nel: The decibel test done at Mr. Pistorius' house, did you see the report?
W: I did, about not long ago my lady. Maybe 3 weeks. But I can't interpret it as I don't know what is going on in it.
