Court is back in session.
Judge: You are still under oath?
Roux: I am sorry. I stopped you.
Viljoen: My lady, like I mentioned before, I tried to settle the dogs, get my heart beat back to normal. I could hear a mans voice and where is the lady.
Viljoen: I remember thinking how does one fall back asleep after something like that. I could see my parents room from my room. I could see the lights on and there was movement.
Viljoen: I remember going to my mom and told her that I heard screaming. She said yes, Oscar called my dad and that he needs our help.
Viljoen: I remember going to the car and waiting for my dad. My leg still shaky. We drove to Oscars; house.
Roux: If I may stop you and look at exhibit E, is there any thing relevant on the red and yellow lines.
Viljoen: Yes, I took the red route.
Roux: Is that the quickest route?
Viljoen: I drove rather fast, I parked the car in the road. I turned my hazards on. I remember there was people in the yard. I asked them what was going on.
Roux: Those people, who were they?
Viljoen: A security guard and Frank. Frank is the gardener.
Roux: If it is possible how long was the time between the call to get to OP's house?
Viljoen: My lady plus minus 3 minutes.
Roux: The shouting Help, Help. Help, how long if you can estimate before you spoke to your mother?
Viljoen: My lady, if I can work it out in my mind, from the time that I woke, if I can take a guess about 5 minutes.
Roux: Okay, you say you arrived and saw Frank the gardener and a person there.
Roux: What car did you drive?
Viljoen: A mini, a silver mini.
Viljoen: We asked what is going on, they said they don't know. I remember as we approached the house the door was slightly open. I remember I just touched the door and it opened.
Viljoen: I remember the first thing I saw was Oscar carrying Reeva. I came into the door and he was there on the landing coming down.
Viljoen: I proceeded to enter the house and he came down. You could see he was walking very fast. He just wanted to get her to the hospital.
Viljoen: I said, no, just put her down. He pleaded to help her. He was begin me to put her in the car and take her into the hospital.
Judge: Just take a minute. It is fine.
Viljoen: My lady, I will be fine.
Viljoen: He carried her down and the moment he saw me, he said please, thank-you very much. He said take my car take her to the hospital. I just saw blood every where.
Viljoen: My dad stepped outside to phone the ambulance. I was kneeling on the one side of Reeva, Oscar was on the other side. He was begin mt to take her to the hospital.
Viljoen: I proceeded up to the landing to the cupboard to get some towels. I came back down. He was praying to God to save her life. He was begging to save her life.
Viljoen: He was begging and pleading with Reeva to stay with him. I got down with the towels. We tried to stop the bleeding.
Viljoen: I remember I asked him for tape and bags, I wanted to try and stop the bleeding. We tied the towels, I remember asking him to help me. We also lifted up her hands here,
Viljoen: He lifted up her pants here to try and stop the bleeding, he had his finger in her mouth as well to help her breath as well.
Viljoen: I remember when I asked him for the tape, he asked me to keep my finger here in her mouth. I remember he kept asking where is the ambulance.
Viljoen: I kept telling him the y are coming, they are coming.
Viljoen: I remember walking out to ask my dad where they are. There was a gentlemen, he was a doctor. I went back in and told Oscar there is a doctor.
Viljoen: There was almost a relief. I stepped outside to my dad. The doctor went in to Oscar where Reeva was at. When I went in he was going out again my lady.
Viljoen: He was not there very long. I remember he said something like "It is very bad". Oscar was with Reeva.
Roux: Did you at any time speak to him as to what happened?
Viljoen: I remember I asks whim what had happened, and he said he thought it was an intruder. While we were still trying to stop the bleeding
Viljoen: At a stage the ambulance arrived, I ran outside and told them to come quick, come quick. My lady when they came into the house, I told Oscar "let us just step aside so that they can work on her"
Viljone: At a stage I did see somebody peer in, I remember him as Mr. Mike.
Roux: If I give you the surname will it ring a bell?
