Judge: Are you an officer of court. When something like that happens, you stand up immediately.
Nel: It is an apology from my side. I am sure it went off by mistake.
Nel: Are you aware of an injury in a motor accident?
VZ: I am not aware of any accident.
Nel: You don't know anything about a rally vehicle?
Nel: My lady I will carry on now.
Nel: Another incident of aggressive behavior happened when the accused was left out of the final of the 4 x 4 relay. He was very upset about that. He kicked chairs. Do you know anything about that?
VZ: I am aware of that he was left out of the relay. I was not there or involved in the meetings. I was not aware that chairs were kicked.
Nel: How did he express his anger?
VZ: He was actually more disheartened and in tears about not making the team.
Nel: I have no further questions.
Roux: Thank-you my lady. Maybe just for completeness, you referred to the twiiter you received. XXX5 my lady.
Roux: Merely because there was reference to it.
Roux: Can you just read it.
VZ: Posted on 1 July 2014 " I approached our medical doctor....Our cherished all the moments we had at the Olympic games"
Roux: I have nothing further my lady.
Judge: You may be excused.
Roux: My lady I make reference to a photo that we wont to hand in as an exhibit. It is merely a photo that shows the time that the ambulance arrived at the scene. Exhibit YYY.
Roux: We do this, so that you can see the time of the arrival of the paramedics at 3.41 at the gate.
Roux: Then my lady, I spoke to Mr. Nel and I believe our attitudes to be the same. I understand that these reports are already numbered.
Roux: We discussed that we would let you know that these reports were ordered by the court for the court. At the end of the day we will argue and the court will take into account what is stated in the report,
Roux: as context as evidence. I will read the page 29 on the evaluation.
Roux: It is a report commissioned by you and requested by you. The report is by Dr. Scholtz.
Roux: 5.1 OP has been severely traumatised by the events of 14 February 2013. The degree of anxiety is great, he is also mourning the loss of RS.
Roux: Should he not receive clinical help, his disorder will increase.
Roux: The times that he was found to be angry was in context to the situation.
Roux: No evidence could be found that he suffered from anxiety prior to the event.
Roux: There is evidence to indicate the feeling of vunerability.
Roux: The findings that were previously read into the record.
